Lonely By Choice

by Cupid   Apr 30, 2007

Missing The Tenderness Of a Girl By My Side,
Nobody To Call My Own.
No One That Is Able To Give Me.
That Thing, I've Longed For.
For So Long.

Love and a Tease.

Don't I Have The Right, To Receive?
I Just Don't Understand It.
Will It Ever, Come To Me?
I'm Not Trying To Force It.
But Seeing My Friends,
Falling Out and In So Fast.
It's Just Retarded.

Will It Come?
I Want To Know.
So that I Can Wait
and Receive It.
With Wide Open Arms.

Let It Blow My Doubts Apart.
About, If It's Real or Not.
Just To Give This Love Thing, a Brand New Start.

Until Then I'm Stuck.
Lonely Days, Will Go On.

Driving Myself Insane.
I Just Want To Gain,
a Girl With an Integrity,
That Feels The Same.

This is a good emotional write. I could feel your pain, your isolation at your tormented situation. You self questioning is evident and takes the reader on your emotional plee for happiness with lady love.

    Well done

    Hiya Cupid,
Nice poem and one I can relate to. It would be nice if you could share a little more of yourself. Really dig deep and describe how you feel. Are you bothered at all about being lonely and without love?
