Excellent. It works well for a song, but for a poem, it lacks. There was a few grammatical errors, but that's always a pain. I know, I still have troubles with it. I think you have potential to write a really meaningful poem/lyrics. If you spiced up your choice in vocabulary, and stepped away from rhyming. It would be totally kick-ass! Keep up the good work!
