Just One Day

It took one day
To learn who he was
And just another
To learn he came from above

It took no time at all
To find he had wings
To make me happy
He would sing

He made me laugh
When times got tough
He made me smile
When I thought I'd had enough

He told me the truth
And stuck by my side

When somebody lied

I cared for him so fast
It had me a little scared
But I looked at his wings
And now I think I'm prepared

He might be my angel

But it took just three days
And I like what he shows

I can see that well
