If you looked in my eyes
you would see what all i hide

you could see why i run
when things seem to get rough

why i cry at night so no one can hear
why i laugh in the day time so you wont see my tears

i wont let you hurt me
so i put up a wall

my heart wont get broken
not this time at all

people say i am crazy
and that i am to protective

but they dont know what its like
not to be protected
