After The Rains

by Cameron   May 1, 2007

After a period of rain
The flowers start to bloom
Nature springs up from the ground
When spring starts to loom

The rain has ended
And the ground gets painted green
Gray clouds loom no more
As flowers flood the scene

The rainclouds have finished
Giving the earth its showers
From these soaked grounds
Sprout an army of flowers

After the rains have gone
The trees are reborn
The color of flowers paint the ground
As nature blows its horn

The end of the rain
Marks the rise of spring
Trees and flowers flood the ground
As we hear the hummingbird sing

After the rains
Green floods the ground
Nature blows its horn
When spring comes around
