My 1st Love

by Manda Withrow   May 1, 2007

There was a story told to me
By someone very close
I hold him deep in my heart
He is the reason I live
Will be the reason I die
And he well never know

You Never forget your first
True love it hurts the most
You hold on to them so very tight
You never let them see the light
And they down beneath it all
They reach for the surface
Letting go they fall

They fall into the deepest depths of black
Never to return
You try and grasp their hand
But unknowing they don't look
You try and rescue them
But they're drowning in their feelings

Dying below the stars
Dying after being in your arms
There was one thing
You never felt you said enough
And you never believed their reply
But you loved them to the moon and back
And without them you can't fly

So you scream alone at night
And cry in your room
Empty us your heart like the depths of space
I will never forget his face
I miss you so much
RIP my friends
