Untitled 2

by Kelli Wiley   May 4, 2007

I am pulled beneath your undertow
Of happiness and bliss.
I am restrained by your true want for
Your rescuer to liberate you from this hell you are trapped in.
Loathing in respect, wishing I
knew where your happiness was derived from.
Questioning myself, who am I to suffocate
myself in a body of disdain,
Lost and confused, in a world of lies.
I will open my eyes, and close my mouth,
I will look at my surroundings,
hoping to find that he was always there
by my side, this whole time.
I can see you two steps in front of me
I know I am not there yet, it will take a lot of time
but soon I will be by your side
and like you I too will be in utter happiness and bliss
waiting to be liberated from this hell
Waiting with you for our freedom.

Well I think that this is quite an interesting poem and I like the language you have used, tho I did get a little confused at times as to what you were talking about. Sian xxx
