Mama

by Sebastian Han   May 6, 2007

Year after year
We been through laughters and tears
Day by day
Sweetness and bitterness of life are what we taste
Night after night
What you give to your children is light

A moment in a million years
Our lifetime together is less than a hundred years
Nevertheless I will try to cherish and love those moments
Bear your sweetest smile in my mind
Bury everything including your enchantment
I will cherish those sweet memories until the death of mine

Rain drops, sun shines
I will always remember how your sweet smile shines
You lead us to the light
You keep us safe in the dark
Nights are cold and you hold me tight
Protect and hold me close when dogs bark

You raise me up when I am down
You hold me when I fall
I try so hard and not to let you down
I wish someday I could take you and enjoy a cascading waterfall
My fate can be destroyed and my name can be changed
But my love and our relationship will keep running in my veins

Mama, my love for you will never change
My concern for you will be the same
No matter where we are
Our soul will be in each other's heart
Even the skies fall over
You are still my guardian angel ever after.
