I only wish ..

Every moment of the day ,
i think about you .
does it ever occur to you -
that i`m in love .

i try and tell you how i feel ,
but you tell me you need time to heal .
i understand , but do you care ?
im not sure if you`re quite aware .

i cry myself to sleep at night ,
wondering if my heart will give up this fight .
when i close my eyes i see you ,
when i open them you`re right there too .

when i listen to the radio ,
i sing along to songs i know .
the love songs that remind me of you ,
only make me wish you felt the same way too .

i try my best to believe ,
that you will one day come to me .
and soon ; i will give up my hope ,
because do you love me ? nope .
