Captains Log

by Soft Parade   May 9, 2007

My ship has set sail,
with few on board.
Were all of one name,
just different detail.

We have lost our way,
drifting by each day.
Charting our path,
calculating the math.

Along way from home,
the sickness sets in,
but not for too long
as adventure is for-long.

For want of one night,
to swim with my friends.
The current of time
leave me back for the end.

A consequence of love,
to feel hollow and thin.
My family and friends,
I miss you from within.
