Is love for real?

Today was the day,
the day that made my year,
today was the day,
he made himself clear,

he got all of his courage,
and all of his words,
to tell me exactly how he feels,

he told me he likes me and maybe even love me,
but he didn't know how i would feel,

i told him i like you too but i love you even more,
and every time i said it before,
i was actually telling him exactly how i feel,

from that day on we were together,
and nothing could ever get better,

my life was complete,
but how was i to know that he wasn't for me to keep?,

one day he said to me i don't like you anymore,
i said ok,i don't mind,
but deep Down my heart started to break,

we stayed friends,
its as close as we could be,
because from now on,
he has no feelings for me.
