School

by Alex   May 15, 2007

As time flies by the bells ring.
The birds outside sing.

No one notices except me.
Why do we have to be kept here, when there's so much to see?

I finish my pop quiz just in time.
I pay the "toll" to the school bullies a dime.

I rush out to the playground and run around free.
I play with my classmates hide and seek.

Then the bell chimes.
It's time.

I trudge back in and think,"Just a typical school day."
