I never really told you
so I'm not sure if you know
besides i never said to anyone
those three words: i love you.

i told others that i love you
and i guess you love me too
but i never said direct to you
those three words: i love you.

we used to sit in your lounge room
with everyone about
but it wasn't quite the place to say
those three words: i love you.

and then things were very tense
and my times with you were few
and i never had the chance to say
those three words: i love you.

i now the time will come one day
and it will break my heart in two
because i never got to really say
those three words: i love you.
