Him

The world just didn't seem to be loving me
I hugged him and the world was right.
I fell into his outstretched arms
And he lifted me off my feet
As time froze
I sunk into his body
And felt his loving embrace.
Holding me tight
Protecting me from the horrors of the world
His warmth engulfed me
And for just that one second in time
Nothing was wrong
And everything just seemed to be right.
