Questions

by Ivy Stockill   May 16, 2007

You ask me the question,
Nearly everyday,
And if not for the answer,
I'd send you away.
You ask me the question,
But I haven't got the words,
I'd so like to tell you,
But it sounds so absurd.
You ask me the question,
I wish that you would stop it,
If I told you the answer,
Our friendship would cop it.
You ask me the question,
Who do I love?
I pray I could answer,
To the heavens above.
You ask me the question,
But the answers too hard,
I wish that I could tell you,
But my heart has been barred.
You ask me the question,
The answer is true,
I just wish I could tell you,
The answer is you.
