Before I Met You

by FoundHim   May 16, 2007

Before I met you
I was down in the dumps
My life was nothing
But dead-ends and bumps.
None of the pieces
Seemed to fit together
Had I imagined you-
Oh had I never.
I kept asking myself
If I deserved all this
When all I wanted
Was love and bliss.
Before I met you,
My life was a big mess
I went for guys
Who wanted less.
They told me lies,
Filled my head with junk,
Now I look back,
And know each was just a punk.
Baby now I found you,
My hear found a landing
And each day
My love is expanding.
