First of all. OMG! I had to study this in class..
Now on to the commenting of the poem lol

"A natural hero was born on 1861
His name was Jose Protacio Rizal
A gifted child who studied foreign languages
This great hero was the founder of La Liga Filipina."

I loved how you went straight the point when starting this poem. Stating who he is, what he did and why he was a hero.

"During his lifetime there was a war
The Philippines was shattered to the ground.."

So true, perfect honesty in this poem.

"His divine weapon was not a sword nor a gun
But a small pen. A pen so great it united the Filipinos."

I'm loving how you said that he never used a gun nor a sward but a pen. Which is an amazing contrast.

"The Spaniards heard it just like a wind whispering to them"

    Perfect imagery.

"It spread all over the country like a wild fire"

Which is true and again great imagery.

"Yet his hated grows and burns within his soul"

Fire with hate, good contrast again.

"They have to leave Jose Rizal to the hands of the Evil Spaniards"

They were evil back then. Not anymore though but then they were!

"And one day the government ordered his death
His death day was on December 30, 1896"

More facts in a poem which is great.

"Behind him a hundred gunman to shoot him dead.
The leader shouted FIRE! and then a gun echoed in the area
Jose Rizal was shot in the back.. his eye sight blurred for the last time"

Good imagery. But wasnt he blind folded? I can't remember to long ago..

"He felt the pain starts to erupt up to his spine
he breath for the very last time
He looked up into the misty sky
    He collapse facing the gunman"

Even if we don't know this for a fact, I like how you used it in your poem.

"There he was lying dead on the bloody ground
The Clouds weeps for his death
All the Filipinos who watched him get shot screamed NO!
His death inflamed the hearts of the Filipinos"

I love this last stanza very inspirational. Makes me proud to me half filipina ;) Good work in showing our history! I loved it. Great write! You should check out some of my poetry sometime. Thanks!
