Threw me for a loop...

Life always throws us for a loop,
No matter what we do,
No matter what we say,
We can not fight what is going to happen,
We can not fight fate you can only put it off,
My loop was you,
I never dreamt that I would meet a man like you,
I never asked for you,
I did not wish for you,
I was just fine with out you.
But you came into my life and changed things up,
You made me fall in love with you,
It was so easy, so effortless.
I thought my loop in life was just you,
But of course I was wrong.
There was her, she came to test our love.
I let you go, I knew I had to
I killed me to say goodbye,
But I knew that if our love was true,
YOu would come back to me.
Sure enough you came back,
You told me she could not compare to me,
Silly me I thought that meant she was gone.
I know she is there and I am not,
I know you get to see her everyday
But you love me, more than you love her,
You tell me you think about me even when you are with her,
Is this another loop for me?
I am not sure how many more my poor heart can handle.
You pushed me out when she found out about me,
You said you could never talk to me again,
That you loved her enough to let me go,
If you loved her as much as you say you do
Why are you still talking to me everyday,
Telling me you can not wait to have me in your arms?
Something here does not add up
But I have let you go more than once
And each time you came back to me,
So I know that you are mine to keep
Now all I have to be is patient.
You are the loop life had in store for me.
