Confusion in Silence

by Avrii Monrielle   May 20, 2007

I feel my cheeks from long ago,
The blush no longer being there,
My body shaking,
Standing, barely breathing,
Thinking.

Blood rushing to my head,
Pulsating to a heavy rhythm,
Beating, stumbling,
Pouding, drumming,
So loud.

I want to fall,
On the ground, in the air,
Disappear today,
I want to run away,
From you.

I see you, time freezes,
Slows as you stare,
With the coldest gaze,
I begin to faze,
Blinking.

As if we never knew each other,
As if we were never friends,
We're just strangers,
Talking to our friends, like nothing ever,
Happened.

All you are is a movie clip,
That runs through my head,
All I am is some crazy girl,
That lives in the same world,
As you.

You don't hate me,
I don't hate you,
We never do talk,
Together won't walk;
We're lost.

Lost from each other,
You ignore my calls,
I annoy you so much,
Because of this crush;
Sorry.

I want to erase what has happened,
Leave it all behind,
I want to move on,
But something is wrong,
With this.

I smile, you ignore,
I speak, you won't look,
You gaze, I turn,
Need some ice for that burn?
Screw you.

I try to be happy, forget you,
Smile, forget troubles,
But when something reminds me,
Of what used to be,
I'm sad.

I hate sensing your prescence,
You're always in view.
No matter what I do,
I can't seem to hate you,
Damnit.
