Dear you

by Emily McCarter   May 20, 2007

Dear you,

Come and take a walk with me.
Let pretend, were just two people.
Even though you think your better then me.
I'd like to ask you some question.......
If you could speak honestly.
What do you feel when you see me walking down the hall.
Do you think about me before you go to sleep?
What do you see when you look in the mirror.
Are you proud?

How you do sleep when i'm crying.....
How do you dream when you gave me no chance to say goodbye.
How do you walk with you head held high.
Can you even look me in the eyes, tell me why.

Dear you,
Were you lonely when I took the walk?
How could you say you never love me.....?
When you did.
I'm not dumb.
Or blind.
I was sitting in your cell of broken hearts.
As you pave the way to hell.
What kind of guy would makes a girl feel the way you made me feel.
And what kind of guy would hate someone for no reason.
I could only image what you would say.
You come a long way from you weed and binge drinking.

Let me tell you about my life.
With a broken heart and a boy you thought you loved.
Let me tell you about my life.
Rebuilding a broken heart.
After you ripped it out and stomped on it.
Drawing fake hearts on things.
Wishing they were mine.
Let me tell you about my life.
You don't care about anything.

Dear you,
I know you never take a walk with me.
Hmmm....would you?
