Unknown land

by Daniel   May 22, 2007

This land is unknown and yet its there
just waiting for us to go there
but we stager and limp
for we are wounded form the journey
we went through town of angry villagers
through military mite
even through unbearable terrain
and we made it to the garden of Edan
only to see its gates close
through all the hardship it seemed worth it
but in the end my comrades died outside its gates
slaughter by its guardians
we saw unbelievable things
only to be silenced and never speak
i made it out alive but my comrades are all dead
angles are said beautiful
but no angles we saw were of beauty
only death and destruction
the unknown land will stay unknown to us
we were there and we failed
just as are ancestors before us
