Late nights on the phone
Something secret to them all
You said; "You couldn't wait to see me"
I said; "You know we can't fool them all"
I denied it for weeks
Kept it all in
"No, I didn't like him, Yes he's just a friend"
But how can I lie when it was plane to see,
There were times when I needed you
And you'd call just in time
You knew me like a no one did
And promised everything would be fine
You were perfect just to me,
And I always doubted that could be
You said you loved how innocent I was
And how stubborn I could be
Everyone told me to make a move before I leave
But I don't know
If that would have changed anything in the end
But the endings plane to see
The end is what's been killing me
I can't seem to understand
How you like one person for so long
And in one day make it all end
But caring less is what I wish I could do
But I still care for how happy you made me feel
And though you make me lonely,
And loose all sense in hope
