I miss everything about you, and what you represent.
i miss your sweet calming nature,
i miss your warm and loving kiss,
i miss your concerned conversation,
and your assertive protectiveness.
i miss the petty arguments,
and those late night talks,
i miss our bedroom encounters,
and those romantic downtown walks.
i miss your joking personality,
and the way you showed you cared,
i miss the hugs when you said goodbye,
and how you always said you'd be there.
i miss the many kisses hello,
and your smiles throughout the day,
i miss the times that we went out,
and how you never wanted me to pay.
i miss the way your presence uplifted me,
and how i could feel your smiles through the phone,
i miss your everlasting friendship,
and how your voice could make me feel like i was surrounded by people whenever i was all alone.
i miss sharing my good news with you, and also sharing the bad,
i miss sometimes getting jealous,
and how you could never stay mad.
i miss us being together,
and how i thanked the heavens above,
but what i miss the most about you is the way you captured my heart with your overpowering love.
