Always working on these poems
Trying to show em
That I shift into someone else
I don't know how or why I can't be myself
These mood swings change in different directions
I can be mean, rude and sometimes show affection
I constantly wonder why
I get these thoughts that make me cry
Rerun conversations through my mind
All day and night to make sure what I said was kind
Maybe this was how I was meant to be
Is that why when I attempt to escape but never break free
I guess that every time I try to break out
It never comes through cause I was meant to shout
I'm meant to be someone I hate
Maybe it's just fate
Not everyone can be perfect for you
They just have some problems they need to work through
They at times will make you mad
But they will think of it and will feel sad
They may seem cold hearted and hollow
But they just haven't found a role model to follow
I am one of those people who can seem mean
But inside I am nice and pleasant you just haven't seen
