Should Have Never Let You Go

What did I do last night
I don't know but it wasn't right.
I should have never let you go
but I was afraid to let my love show.

I still got feelings for you ... they wont go away
only because I think of you everyday.
Every time I hear your name I want to cry
because I let you go without saying goodbye.

Why did I say "We need to take a break?"
I don't know but it was a mistake.
Why didn't I just let my love show?
I should have never let you go.

I want you back in my arms
and hear you talk to me in the sweetest charm.
I want you to hold my hands
and be happy that you're my man.

I want to look back into your eyes
telling you how I feel without a lie.
I want to see that smile rise upon your face
and get held in your warm embrace.

Your face is engraved in my heart
it always has been from the start.
I should have never let you go
but I was afraid to let my love show!!

    I really like this poem a lot.. the title should be "i should have never let you go" because you repeat that line a lot throughout the poem and that seems like the main point

    other than that... it was very well written and im sure a lott of people can relate to this.. i know i can.. great job and thanks for the comment =) 5/5
