The Truth About Love

by Faye   Jun 1, 2007

The truth is love never wanted me.
It pushed and shoved me around,
made me fall and trip.
Always hitting the ground.

So many times I actually believed
that someone would want me.
In the end it was all a lie.
I was just to blind to see.

Love made my life hell,
always making me sick.
Never succeeding in anything.
The truth is love is a p.rick.

My mind and heart on the battlefield.
Engaged in merciless war.
I wouldn't let myself get hurt,
and that I swore.

The truth is love is unforgiving.
It doesn't matter who you are.
It sneaks up behind you,
watches you from afar.

The truth is love never wanted me,
and that I truely believe.
