This is beautiful- it has such fantastic images and the rhyme sceme is flawless, the wording well constructed. But what really overpowers me are the memories and emotion this invokes in me, for a moment I felt like the child I was once. Superb poem!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your line about sipping the Milky Way! That was so creative! I bet that's just what a child thinks of when it hears of the milky way galaxy! LOL! This was so sweet and well-written. Nice to see a piece that is just about life...not about lost love, broken hearts, war, cliques, or anything painful, but about the wonder of childhood and the greatness of dreams!
