An Undying Love

by Anaisthitos   Jun 2, 2007

"You're beautiful, child,"
he spoke to her,
"Dark, yet daring
incapacitated to get hurt
though the despair of your past
haunts your mind
the absence is vast
and hard to find
embryonic, yet original
a complete classic, in a mask
I love you, darling
Now I'm with you at last;
For there is no finer feeling
then getting lost in your smile
Looking into your eyes
Makes living life worthwhile

No, this is not
a transient crush
For I love you lots
and be in no rush."
He looked in her eyes
and what did he see?
But a lovestruck girl
doused in feelings, far too deep
For this is love
curious and young
and the moment they met
life had just begun.
