Hello Apathy

by kelsielaroche   Jun 3, 2007

Stop all movement and stare,
He plays on and all I have is here,
All I've ever known was what he taught me,
Now he's in over his head,
He's gone and I'm better of dead.

When I'm alright again,
I'll look him up and see,
What he's been up to for 20 years,
Has he thought of me?

The pages in this story,
Seem to lack words,
The pictures I developed and encased,
Are now smudged and creased,
I tried to unfasten the memory lace,
But I can't help but feel this burn.

When I'm alright again,
I'll look him up and see,
Have his apathetical ways changed?
Or is he still walking away from me?

I never asked for your sympathy,
All I wanted was you to be with me,
Lights down and there we were,
I never asked you to crawl to me,
I just wanted you to feel for me.
