I wonder why she keeps going back to him,
I wonder why she puts up with his problems,
I wonder why she lets him speak that way,
why does she go back to him everyday.

I wonder why she feels safe in his arms,
I wonder why she loves the way he smells,
I wonder why she enjoys chatting for hours,
Why does she let him yell while she cowers.

I wonder why she loves him with all her heart,
I wonder why she still wears his jacket after they fight,
I wonder why she sticks it out,
why does she look into his eyes without a doubt.

I wonder why she thinks they must be together forever,
I wonder why she does her hair for him and not for herself,
i wonder why she feels like she must obey his every word,
Why does she ignore the truth that she knows she heard.

I know why she finally got the urge to say no,
I know why she started livin' her own life,
I know why she hums happily in the hallway; he is in the past,
She no longer has to be lonely,letting him go allows happiness to last.
