Flying high

by Maria   Jun 7, 2007

Flap your wings
un-timed
Flutter your bodies around
in a crowded space
Wrap around like
a kite yet to be wind.
Hop around like
jumping beans.
Shoot out like
Flying stars.
High as Venus,
but far as mars.
Be as beautiful
as an imagined heaven.
Be as light as
clouds.
Be silent screamers
with wide open mouths.
Fly free, unchained melodies
Fly together without
a care in the world
For you an angel from
the start.
It turns out these
butterflies weren't in my
stomach,
But in my heart.
