Don't Leave

by Tamon G   Apr 20, 2004

The worst day has arrived.
The day where we turn from a
couple to you and I are on our
own to survive.

It feels like vultures are circling the
skies above.
Ready to ambush me, as soon
as my weak heart gives up from
the sense of being unloved.

My eyes are burning like they have
been punish to hell.
I try to hold back my tears, but
some way one always falls.

I don't feel my heart beating in my
chest.
When I saw you walked away,
it was like my heart left with you on
a fatal quest.

I would do anything.
I would change my ways, I'll be
whatever you want me to be.
Just please,
please don't leave me.

Thanks for the confidence Kristina. This is how I felt a couple years ago. I just started thinking about it again, but things are good for me now.

Very nice poetry. Expressed yourself clearly. Keep up the great work. I am sorry you had to go through this but don't worry. Just keep your head up high and remain strong. Things will soon turn out for the better.
    Take care
    Kristina
