Wait, they don't love you like I love you.

by Morham   Jun 9, 2007

Falling.
Sinking in.
I don't know where I'm going.
I don't know where I've been.
Lost in a swirling vortex of doom.
Lost in the thoughts of you.
Wait for me.
Let me breathe.
Hold my hand.
Swim in the sea.
I think I'm falling.
Right infront of you.
You see me.
I'm clear in veiw.
You watch me.
And my funny qorks.
Your missing out.
It could just work.
Wait.
Take a step back.
Hold your breath.
I'll take you away.
Just watch.
It'll be you and I someday.

This is a good poem (!) but you use a lot of different metaphors all at once - swimming, sinking, falling, walking away - all sort of blend together and make meanings less clear. That aside, the format is really original and makes this poem really cool! I can't wait to see your next poem - post one soon!
