Short Days

The days never seem long enough,
And they seem to always pass by,
But the best part about them is,
That youre always by my side.

The summer never seems hot enough,
Especially standing near you,
Because when were talking,
My skys a different blue.

You never know how much you feel,
Until the love's ripped away,
So I'll take it while I can,
And enjoy another day.
