I'll Wait

by Aki   Jun 11, 2007

Sleep doesn't find me in day,
nor at night.
The growl of my stomach
is not fed.
There's no food,
No bread
Nothing...
Sickness over takes me.
I walk on though,
ignoring the pain in my chest.
Doesn't matter at all,
I need to get to you,
now...
So please be waiting,
right there on the porch
Where we kissed first.
Tripping on a crib
I'm almost there,
but...
I can't get up!
There's no strength left
to get me to my feet.

Its gone...
the pain that gripped my insides.
Closing my eyes
I see your face and smile.
"I'll wait for you..."
