Just Like A Demon

by Angela   Jun 13, 2007

Time cut through me like a razor,
just like your words.
Pierced through my heart, and
ripped out just like paper.
Could you have been any
more cruel?
To leave me here,
bleeding out like a fool?

Your intentions weren't
to hurt me, and leave me here
in this critical state, dying.
But you're menacing, just like
demons.
Can you at least say sorry,
sorry for burning me?
Can you just give me some
air, some type of serenity?

I know I'm far from perfect,
but hey, so are you.
Stop your tricks, deceits.
You can't control the rain,
so why the hell try to control me?
Are you this out of your mind?
What the hell do you think
you'll find?

This poem was not written by me. It was written by Marilyn Marti(some of her poems include: GIRL IN MIRROR, ONLY IN YOUR EYES..)I put it on my page with the authors permission.
