I can see you

A few years down the road (after me) impressing the ladies with your vast
Collection of trivial
Knowledge. I can see you in uniform taking orders... and then giving them,
Never slowing down. I can see you meeting her: the
Object of your affection. I can see you dancing 'neath the pale moonlight reflected on
Water. I can see the gazebo and both pairs of
Lips: smiling, laughing, meeting.
Enter priest and marriage, never slowing
Down. I can see the years and lust
Go by and it started with baby, and
Enter REAL life. You still love each other, and you've never been happier, she's not me, and

It doesn't bother me.
That's how I know I don't really love you.
