Key To My Heart

by Melissa Deschamps   Jun 14, 2007

I close my eyes and what do I find
Your beautiful brown eyes
Just one glimpse and I'm lost
Drowning in emotions I thought could never be
Ones I've locked up for so long
Your silky long brown black hair surrounds your face
I see your arms wrap around my waist
Long slender fingers entwine with mine
You kiss my cheek
And whisper in my ear,
Things I dare not talk about
Oh, how I love your touch
Safe and warm
Maybe in the future we'll get married and have a child
I can picture you now,
In a black and white tux
Down on one knee with a box in your palm
You say "Melissa Deschamps will you marry me?"
Of course you know the answer to that
But these things would never be thought,
If it weren't for you
You are the key to my heart,
You see,
I've never been this in-love
Until I meet you
