Jealousy

by Blackrosesavvi   Jun 16, 2007

My heart is in the right place.
Now it's here filled with blackness that it has chased.

That empty street that I walk,
Hidden beneath the pale shade of the dusty chalk.

I never thought I'd feel this way,
And again I expressed what I couldn't say.

A jealous feeling swept over me,
Now I am who I don't want to be.

Doing what you ask and showing nothing at all,
One of these days I must fall.

I hate the thought of you not here,
For it is what I most fear.

My world revolves around you,
And everything that you do.

Your heart, the single colorful thing in my soul,
Your love makes my life whole.

I wish I never have to see you gone,
Without you here I can't stay strong.

Jealousy covers my surprise,
When someone else looks in your eyes.
