We sit and watch

by catherine   Jun 18, 2007

We sit and watch the sun go down
Burning ball, flaming crown,
Now placed upon rolling hills
Then the Wind blows sweet and soft
Silently it whispers to the. “Souls aloft,
Listen to my whistling song so near
Come with me don’t seek to fear,
Brought to thee on angel wings that fly by
Breath easy now, don’t you think to sigh
Bringing the promise of tomorrow
New days start and end with highs and lows
Dreams take over where reality ends
Here you’re safe from life’s tragic bends
So sleep and dream and praise the day
For tomorrow is soon on its way
Your safe here up on the hill
Over watched by nature’s will”
