Love, an unreal mistake

by CHOKE   Jun 18, 2007

I desire most, what I cannot have.
I crave to have your love, your heart.
But you just stand there denying me.
You've perfected torture to the very art.

You laugh as I fall.
You willingly let me be the fool in your game.
I try not to give up,
But i'm just so tired, I wish I had never played.

My heart is worn on the outside,
Anyone can have it, it's a mere give or take.
But it's always tossed away,
I guess love really is an unreal mistake.

You smile,
As I slowly start to break.
You know that you can have me,
But it's better to make me stand and wait.

I'm tired of wating.
I honestly am, But that means nothing to you.
Because this is your game, not mine.
I'm just a piece on your board, one you don't care to lose.

I desire most, what I cannot have.
I crave to have your love, your heart.
But you just stand there denying me.
You've perfected torture to the very art.
