I Found Where I Belong

For so long I've been crying, even when I had no reason to. I've cried at night and a little everyday, while I cry I ask God, for just one friend and somewhere to belong. So long I've cried longing for a friend, a friend, where I can just be myself, also a place where I can be myself. Somewhere I don't have to wear a mask. I asked God every night just for a friend and a place where I can be myself. I finally got my prayers answered, I didn't have any friends, I was always alone, and no one cared for my tears. I was alone for so long I have forgotten what it's like to have friends. I'm not so sad anymore. I have friends, I'm never alone, someone cares for my tears. When I'm by myself I look at the sky and thank God because I have found where I belong.
