He smiled at me from across the room
and held my gaze as he walked towards me
he came up to me and just smiled.
He put his arms around me
just as softly as can be
and made me feel as safe
as a worried girl can be.

it didn't matter that everyone was watching
we stood and flirted
and there was no sign of stopping

i don't know what else to say
there is no desribing
the way you feel
when a guy is actually paying attention to you.
