Locked Doors

by Amanda   Jun 19, 2007

What I want

What I need

Two different things entirely

The numbness consumes every inch of your helpless body

Feeling emptiness...yet extreme intoxication

full of numbness, but it's empty...isn't it?

Numbness is nothing, but numbness is something

Being trapped in a room

---one door

-----one LOCKED door

The only way out, is in

To escape from the room

You must enter INTO the room

*thinking*--"Aren't we already IN the room??"

ARE you in the room???

Physically? Mentally?

You decide....

I'm in the room

Yet, the door is still locked

Where is the key??

You HAVE to find the key

But what if there is no key?

Will you be here forever?

Will I be here forever?

Consumed with numbness...

Physically and mentaly exhausted

What I want

What I need

Are two different things entirely

I WANT to be out of the room...

I NEED to stay in...

It's not keeping me in....

It's keeping YOU out...
