Her world ... her heart ...

by «™Bleeding Heart»   Jun 22, 2007

She plummets to the ground
As her heart shatters
Like shards of broken glass
The tears a crimson red

The blood that seeps from her veins
Yes, maybe it was for you
She couldn't help it
You broke her heart in two

You think your going to break her
Not this time, no not anymore
She won't back down
No she wont fall to the ground

You always spoke the words
"Forever we will be"
Nothing lasts forever
Yet still she was lead to believe

You stabbed her in the back
Tore her heart from her
Love for her is what you lack

You, her world
The only one she lives for
Her savior
No more could she adore

You're going to break her for the last time
...just once more

That night ...
That message ...
those words from you
"I don't love you anymore"
More so from her

..."Goodbye my love
My life was yours"...

Such a deeply painful but amazing poem. Truly a heart tugger. I couldn't help but think of past ex's whenever I read this. You did an excellent job with this piece, I hope you continue writing. 5/5 <3 <3 <3

I adore this piece. It was, in fact, written and presented rather well and sound. The overall diction and flow of words were terrific. As a result, on the whole, I give you my props for writing such a fantastic piece. ~Marian
