Hold over me

Day by day
my heart grows colder
you try to be there
and offer me your shoulder

but how can i open up
when your the reason i cry
i want to get over you so much
impossible.No matter how hard i try

I know were best friends
but it could be so much more
i think about you every night
and sleep with my eyes so sore

it breaks my heart when i see you
so much i want to say..
just want to hold you close forever
and be with you everyday

i don't want to see you
because it hurts so much
but i know if i don't
then i wont even feel your touch

so ill continue to bit my tongue
and hold in what i feel
but ill continue to cry
and Denie my feelings are real

    Been there for sure. You put your emotions to words very well. This piece is definitely an emotional one. I related to these lines the most.

    The last stanza summed up a lot of what i've been through. Trust me, it gets better but it takes a long time...least it did for me.
