Thunderous Storms

by Liz   Jul 2, 2007

Life is the lightening in night
It is a voice in the wind and rain
The thunder is the burden to fight
For a single life on a window pane

Live to laugh in light of the day
For when night comes, a stormin
The tears of rain might take you away
To come back again, wake up a mournin

Take a moment just to think
Feel the thoughts in your head
Appreciate the day, not to sink
In the night, like a ton of lead

But to sleep forever, peacefully
In the presence of the night
Now the spotlight of the moon
Stars shining, oh shinning so bright.

Resist the clouds forming dark
Make the sun come out to play
Don’t let the worse leave a mark
But have it teach you another day
