I don't think I have ever read anything like this before. This is unique and absolutely amazing. "For the comfort of the known." That line is so true, it would have to be my favourite line. Well done on a wonderful poem.

This kind of has the same concept of time passing us by in it, i like that the ending was just the one line, really showed a finishing point, 5/5 xx
