Days Waisted

I spend my days waiting for the next
I spend my nights trying to catch my breath
This life is a test, to see if you live the life you borrowed
And I'm failing fast, cause I'm always looking for tomorrow

I cant say I'm impressed, wasting my days waiting for the next
My view of reality is bent, cant live my life to its fullest extent
I cant find the way, to make today, today, and not the day before tomorrow
I cant see anything now, cause I'm always looking for tomorrow

Everyone says tomorrows a new day, a new start, a new begging
Well I mess up every time so I cant wait to see what tomorrows bringing
But my mistakes are still incorrect and my promises still unkept
My life is fading, while I'm waiting, for the day to end

Why aren't these days wiping why slate clean,
Why cant the week take back the things I didn't mean
Why cant the moments take my problems away
Why cant the hours show me the way
To live my life the way if was meant
Make use of the time that I have spent
Cause I close my eyes, and hope everything will be alright
But its not ok and I could loose it all tonight

And all the things I mean to do during the week
Keeps my mind restless as I try to sleep
Eating away at me while I lay in bed
Waiting for the week to hurry up and end
