Fire burning in your eyes
chaos that controls my mind
chills sent up and down my spine
when you finally said you loved me

My heart sank to the pit of my stomach
my throat became dry
I couldsee a glimpse of lies
hiding behind those gorgeous eyes

You kissed me like you meant every wrd you said
but something just wasn't right
One part of me said it was all ok
the other said follow your heart

My hands began to tremble
and I opened my mouth to speak
I said i wasn't sure I could love you
and I'd never been this helpless and scared
